The Capuchins’ Run Walk for the Hungry will be holding its popular 5K run and 1 mile walk during Polish Fest, Friday, June 17, 7 pm at the Summer Fest grounds.This is the 11th year for the event whose proceeds feed the hungry and are shared by Capuchin Community Services with two locations:  St. Ben’s Community Meal and House of Peace.

Register as an individual, as a family, or as a team and help the Capuchin Community Services feed Milwaukee's hungry by running or walking at Polish Fest. Team registration and the early bird discount ends Sunday, June 5. In addition to your gift, Usinger's will donate up to 1 pound of product per participant!

The $25 run ($15 for children) and $20 walk ($10 for children) registration fee includes entrance into Polish  Fest and free return to Polish Fest all weekend. Overall trophies and age category medals will be presented to the runners. Invite your personal cheering section to attend, Polish Fest entrance fee is $5 pp starting at 5PM. Bill Michaels, “the Big Unit,” will again be hosting the event.


You can begin to register your team name and yourself as team captain. Our registration software is easier to use, more intuitive and will help you build and manage your team. Polish Fest is our new partner for 2016!

Polish Fest Dancers small.jpegThis move to Polish Fest will make it possible for our runners and walkers to enjoy our own stage and cooler temperatures on our new routes. This year every registered participant gets access to Polish Fest for the full run of the festival, June 17-19!

Polish Fest will feature 5 stages of entertainment, Polish and American food, Chopin Vodka lounge, two Tyskie beer gardens and the Big Boomski fireworks display presented by Planners Financial!

Polish Fest is a program of the Polish Heritage Alliance. Through Polish Fest the Polish Heritage Alliance gives the community a chance to celebrate Polish art, history, culture, food and entertainment.   Learn more at: and
